Wilderness First-Aid Training in Boise -- June & July 2010

This course provides the basic knowledge and skills to enable participants to make decisions about emergency care in wilderness settings; including care of injuries for extended periods of time while waiting for rescuers, and simple evacuation techniques. This course is not intended to replace advanced medical treatment but to extend basic level first-aid until more advanced help can be reached. This is a 2-day, 16-hour course and includes extensive hands-on activities. The June course takes place at the Red Cross facility; the July course takes place at Friendship Square. Registration is directly through Red Cross.

Septoberfest -- September 2010

Septoberfest is our annual adult retreat at our beautiful Camp Alice Pittenger property in McCall Idaho. Septoberfest includes special workshops, sharing and discussion, relaxation, inspiration, singing, crafts, new friends, old friends, the out-of-doors, and FUN!

The event starts the evening of September 10 and ends around noon on September 12, 2010.
